About Mollie Kohn

Mollie threw herself into a Diploma of Interior Design and Decoration and loved every minute of it. After completing it, she settled into the beautiful Southern Highlands of NSW. She recently relocated to the South Coast of NSW and is now based in beautiful Maloneys Beach. By drawing on her earlier studies in psychology, Mollie developed an understanding and appreciation of what people want in a home and why they want it. She believes that a person’s surroundings directly impact how they feel and whether they experience positive or negative emotions.

Mollie is passionate about guiding her clients in establishing their own style to match their interests and personalities and the practical aspects of the way they live. Not only should a home be aesthetically pleasing and comfortable, it should be functional and easy to move around in. The design and layout of a home should evoke calm and allow for productivity. She refers to this as #morethanaprettyspace.

It is important to Mollie that her clients feel safe, inspired and at home when they work with her. A home is very personal and Mollie is aware that her clients are inviting her into a cherished and significant space.

Mostly, Mollie wants her clients to love their homes and to regard their home as their happy place: a place where they can be themselves and shake off the worries and cares of the outside world.
